Skin Cancer
Dr Ella has undertaken further training in the treatment of skin cancer. He is able to provide a comprehensive skin check and give the most up to date information on skin protection. Dr Ella holds qualifications in the assessment, diagnosis, removal, treatment and follow up of skin cancers.
Update on New Patient Enrolments
To ensure we continue providing safe, timely, and high‑quality care to the patients already under our care, our medical centre is temporarily unable to accept new clients. This decision allows our clinicians to maintain appropriate appointment availability, uphold clinical standards, and avoid extended wait times for existing patients.
This temporary pause does not apply to children of current clients. If you are an existing patient and wish to register your child, our reception team will be happy to assist with the enrolment process.
We understand that accessing healthcare can be challenging when local services reach capacity. Our team reviews our patient load regularly, and we will update this notice as soon as we are able to reopen to new clients. We appreciate your understanding and patience during this period.

DR John Ella
General practitioner
Dr. Ella has over 25 years of experience working in hospitals and practices. His special interests include skin cancer, minor surgical procedures, and emergency health. He graduated with Honors from the University of Newcastle in 1996 and is a Fellow of the Royal Australian College of General Practitioners. Dr. Ella also worked for the Royal Flying Doctor Service for a number of years in remote communities throughout Australia.
DR Erin Carroll
General practitioner
Dr. Carroll is a dedicated General Practitioner with a passion for women’s health. Graduating with honours from the University of Melbourne in 2013, she completed her internship at the Royal Melbourne Hospital and gained extensive experience in the Northern Territory within remote communities. Dr. Carroll specialises in IUD insertions, pregnancy options, menopause consultations, and general health needs for women and children.

Julia Hastle
Psychologist
Julia has experience as a psychologist working in various settings for over 20 years. She specialises in taking a person-centred approach to therapy, utilising evidence based therapies including the following modalities: Cognitive Behavioural Therapy, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, Mindfulness, Solution-Focused Therapy, Narrative Therapy.
