Meet Our Team

DR JOHN ELLADoctor
Dr Ella has worked in hospitals and practices for over 25 years. His special interests include skin cancer, minor surgical procedures, and emergency health. Dr Ella has worked part-time for the Royal Flying Doctor Service since 2014.
JULIA HASTIEPsychologist
Julia has been practicing as a psychologist for over 20 years. She takes a person-centred approach to therapy, utilising the following modalities: Cognitive Behavioural Therapy, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, Mindfulness, Solution-Focused Therapy, Narrative Therapy.
SOPHIE ELLAPractice Manager
Sophie’s philosophy is to provide the highest quality patient care in an environment that people feel safe and comfortable. She often shares her time between the front reception and administration office, playing a vital role in the day-to-day running of the practice.
MARGARET HOBBSAdministration
Margaret is our friendly receptionist and is always happy to assist you in a professional manner with appointment bookings, payments and any queries you may have.

Psychology

Areas covered include Depression Anxiety, Post-traumatic Stress Ddisorder (PTSD), Couple Therapy, Stress Management, Grief and Loss, Life Transition and Life Adjustment issues, Self-esteem and Self-development Carer Support and health-related problems.

General Practice

Including Skin Checks, Skin Cancer Surgery and General Medical Treatment, Men and Women’s health, Minor surgical procedures and joint injections, Antenatal shared care, ECG Heart Checks, Spirometry, Employment medicals, Travel medicine, Smoking cessation advice.

Skin Cancer

Dr Ella has undertaken further training in the treatment of skin cancer and skin cancer surgery. Dr Ella is able to provide a comprehensive skin check, give the most up to date information on skin protection, and if necessary, use state of the art equipment to remove anything suspicious for analysis. Dr Ella holds qualifications in the assessment, diagnosis, removal, treatment and follow up of skin cancers.
